HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
At the start of a new game. 2 committee members will confirm a pack of playing cards all 52 plus a Joker card, shuffled and then are placed on a locked board in the clubhouse and a virtual copy here, with all 53 reversed playing cards, numbered on the back 1-53.
You can buy as many of the numbered cards as you like for £1 each.
You can buy multiples of the same number, You can enter more than once.
You can choose the same number as someone else, as only one name will be drawn.
A weekly draw will be made (usually on a Sunday afternoon, last entry 11am same day.). A draw will only take place when there are more than 30 entries.
The winner’s name and chosen number will be drawn from an online randomiser wheel of names.
The winning card will then be turned over on the board.
If the card is between 2 and 10, the prize is £10.
Jack, Queen or King wins £15.
Ace wins £20.
If it’s the Joker, that person wins the Jackpot!
The winning card no is removed from play and the game continues the following week but with one less numbered card to choose from till the Joker card is revealed.
Each week, a proportion of the ticket sales is added to the Jackpot, which thus increases on a weekly basis until it is won. A similar proportion is accumulated to build up a new Jackpot.
HOW TO BUY
Click on the card of your choice and choose ‘Add to cart’. To add another card, click ‘Continue shopping’. Each card costs £1.
To purchase your card(s), click ‘Go to cart’ You do NOT need a Paypal account.
You can access your cart at any time by clicking on the shopping trolley icon.
The winning card will be announced via the Club’s Facebook page.
