Hole 14 - The Dam - Par 4

” Prior to the addition of the five new holes this was the original 1st hole. “

Water and out of bounds runs up the right and heather and long grass are found further up on the left of the fairway.  The approach shot to the green needs to clear the grass mounds a few yard in front of the green surface, after clearing those there is no further trouble around this very accessible green.

Most players aim to the left with their tee shot on this hole to avoid the water on the right, but rough and heather await those that stray too far to the left. Fortune favours the brave who manage to find the fairway and are rewarded with a straightforward approach shot to the green.

Pro’s Tip

An accurate tee shot with your preferred club is required on this par 4 leaving you a straight forward approach shot to a relatively unprotected green.
