Well done to Mr Tommy Campbell, no joking when he posted a very tidy net 65 to win Saturdays Sweep. A very reasonable gross 74 by the current club champion Ross McGinn taking best gross honours with a respectable 74. Once again well done to all who played in the cooler conditions.

A very good score of gross 69, net 64 by Jim Anderson to win the November Jar in early winter type conditions and on very unpredictable greens. Well done Jim and all the others who took part.

Well done to David McCubbin who won the November Medal with a tidy net 65, on a tricky greens day. Excellent gross score by Sandy Riddell with a 76. Given some very tough putting conditions and one or two very interesting pin positions, there was some good golf scoring. Once again well done to all those who took part.

Joker is still active in Game 3 and is at a very attractive £555. Well done to the club Secretary who managed to win a second time on the joker last weekend, so I hear he is off to the driving range for a bucket of balls on his winnings.

The greens at the club will shortly be hollowtined and top dressed when weather condition permit. This is an important procedure that the greenkeepers must undertake to aerate the greens and prevent them from softening, a very crucial task given the amount of water they are currently absorbing. Although play on the greens will be affected in the short term it will ensure the greens remain playable during the off season as much as possible and will remain in good condition for the commencement of next season.
